Research Associate in Bio-Inspired Aerodynamics (to open soon)

This Research Associate position will open in early 2021. The Research Associate will contribute to the research on the low-Reynolds-number aerodynamics of dandelion-inspired flyers within the Vortex Interaction Collaboratory (VOILAb) within the Institute for Energy Systems at the University of Edinburgh. The project is funded by the European Research Council. This position is expected to be advertised at scale UE07 (£33,797 - £40,322) and will be available on a fixed term basis for at least 2 years. 

Research Associate (2 Positions) in the Fluid Mechanics of Morphing Blades (Job ID 269)

These Research Associate positions will contribute to the research on the numerical and experimental fluid mechanics, respectively, of morphing blades for tidal turbines within the Vortex Interaction Collaboratory (VOILAb) within the Institute for Energy Systems at the University of Edinburgh. The project is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Bath.
